As I relax more into my own being and life, I am retrieving my joy, creativity, and sensuality. I’m being called to live my life the best way for me, unapologetically. When I’m at my best, I do my best, and everyone around me benefits. It’s a win-win. I love being a woman; however, it wasn’t always like this. It wasn’t until I was in my 50s that I had a profound realization. This turning point led me to genuinely start enjoying life and appreciating myself with all my idiosyncrasies.
Once upon a time, in another land and another time, I believed I was unworthy of love. I felt I had to prove that I deserved love and happiness, that I had to be good to be lovable. Deep down, I felt broken and believed there was something very wrong with me. Over the years, I collected many ideas, beliefs, and behaviors that supported the big lie that I was not good enough and the notion that my value was measured by what I accomplished. I kept waiting for something outside of me to come and save me, making me whole. It was as if my true happiness were always just out of reach, in some distant future, dependent on outside forces. But I woke up. I learned to love myself wherever I was in my life. Not in some future with a different version of myself. Now. Now. Right now. And if I can do it, so can you.
Over the last three decades, I’ve been on a transformative and healing path, learning to love and accept myself, and to access the light within and the truth that I am enough. After much letting go of false beliefs and trying to fit in, I feel free, perhaps for the first time in my life. I genuinely believe that this sense of well-being and inner joy is available to anyone at any time they wish to access it. We can all experience the freedom of being ourselves and the comfort of not having to do anything to prove we are worthy. First, I had to empty myself of the very beliefs that kept me unhappy and under the spell that I was not enough. “If I could only lose weight, my life would be so much better,” “If I found a partner, I’d be so much happier,” “If I found my purpose in this world, I’d feel like I mattered”... and so on.
In 2005, I took a sabbatical and moved to Brazil, my country of origin. It was a beautiful time in the mountains, when I felt a strong feminine presence that I had been missing. I was surrounded by water, luscious vegetation, music, and family. I’ve always joked that Brazil is my mother and the States, my father. The States, for me, have more of a masculine energy, a land of accomplishments and action. In contrast, Brazil was all about receiving, being, and allowing. It wasn’t always easy, but I certainly felt more balanced and learned a lot about myself. There I met my husband, and delved into the world of commitment and intimacy (into-me-you-see), healing many wounds. We came back to the US in 2009, and I was ready to be here again. My father was calling me home.
In the past few years, I had felt a lack of enthusiasm. As women, as we grow older and our bodies change, many of us seem to lose our juice, our joy, and our passion. We stop dancing. We stop singing. We stop dreaming. We forget to rejoice in our feminine essence and to honor ourselves. Some of us never really learned how to practice self-care. I decided I wanted not only to age gracefully but also to feel good doing it.
In this process of coming home to myself, I embraced my inner witch. I began creating beautiful fragrances to support a new vision for my life. I used to get headaches from synthetic perfume, so I started to use Aromatherapy to make perfume for myself, my friends, and my family. I believe essential oils are magical beings and truly angels put here on Earth to help and guide us. Through their aroma and therapeutic benefits, they convey messages of hope, joy, love, and harmony, restoring physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual balance to our bodies and spirits. Essential oils are also very potent and highly concentrated. They are to be used with great care and respect; a little goes a long way.
After more than 30 years working in the wellness industry and building a successful massage practice, I was ready to change gears. Adding my love for Aromatherapy to my passion for natural and organic products and my commitment to well-being, voila! This business was born.
A BIT MORE ABOUT ME
I’m a lover of nature (99% of the photos you see in this website was taken by me around home and Colorado), laughing, music, dancing, reading, cooking, baking, traveling (also love being home), watching movies (especially the ones that make me laugh, inspire me and crack my heart open), spending time with people I love, I love my friends and community and time alone especially for my creativity. My love for nature is deeply ingrained in my work, as I draw inspiration from it for my fragrances. I love anything related to consciousness, awareness, and shift; transformation; shamanism; plant medicine; meditation; the Divine Feminine, and, most of all, I’m a sucker for all the magic and mystery the Universe lovingly provides, including the magic within me.
MY VISION AND MISSION
To create beautiful fragrances using organic, wild-grown, and natural ingredients that inspire women to nurture self-acceptance, embrace their power, and experience a world of infinite possibilities.
The fragrances are created with your well-being in mind. There is an intention behind all of them as I formulate them. Drawing on my intuition, my Aromatherapy background, the wisdom of my journey, and the extraordinary world of nature, these fragrances not only smell divine, but can also support you when you need an emotional boost. I find these fragrances to be my allies in my own life, making me feel supported and fabulous at the same time.
