What is Pinyon Pine?
Pinyon Pine, also called Piñon, grows in high altitudes in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona. Most are at least 400 years old, and 1,000-year-old trees have been found. Coniferous trees are the guardians of our planet, offering critical cleansing and refreshing properties. The essential oil is steam distilled from needles and twigs.
There is something exquisite about Pinyon's scent. It has fresh conifer and woody notes with fruity and floral top notes. It's sublime. I feel blessed that I can enjoy these beautiful trees right in my backyard!
